We are seeking a diligent and proactive Legal and Compliance Associate to join our Legal Department in Barcelona, Spain. This role is integral to ensuring our business transactions, policies, and operations comply with legal and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales and operational teams to facilitate smooth business operations, support on transactional matters, and contribute to projects that drive efficiency and compliance.

Assist in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing terms with clients and contractors.
Reviewing, signing, and archiving of contracts to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Conduct compliance verification for contractors in line with applicable regulations and with the Company’s standards.
Liaise with the sales team to ensure alignment and clarity on terms and contractual obligations.
Assist in submission of vendor questionnaires and bids according to requirements from ongoing or new clients.
Contribute to the update and refinement of company policies, standard contracts, and terms of business.
Contribute to the upgrade of internal processes within the Legal Department to enhance efficiency, including contributing to identifying opportunities for automation of repetitive tasks.
Develop and maintain documentation for improved workflows and automated processes to ensure consistency and ease of use across the Company.
Support the negotiation and signing of terms with overhead suppliers and service providers.
Conduct research and provide insights into legal developments affecting the company’s operations.
Ensure the company complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in its operations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and resolve compliance issues.
Education: Degree in Law or a related field.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Effective use of at least two additional languages (such as Spanish, French, Italian, or German) in a professional environment is highly valued.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
Strong communication skills, particularly in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
Demonstrated accountability and ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
A proactive, enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Ability to complete tasks with a focus on efficiency and delivering results in a timely manner.
Excellent organization and prioritization skills to handle competing deadlines effectively & in a compliant manner.
