Role Summary

As the HR Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our company culture, managing the employee lifecycle, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives. This position blends strategic vision with operational execution, requiring a hands-on approach to ensure seamless day-to-day HR operations and deliver value across all office locations. You will also oversee office operations and lead a team member responsible for office management and HR transactional tasks.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals and values.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive, inclusive company culture.

2. HR Operations

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws across all jurisdictions.
  • Oversee payroll processes in collaboration with external providers.
  • Manage benefits administration, ensuring competitive offerings in each region.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring data protection and confidentiality.

3. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Lead recruitment processes to attract and secure top talent across all locations.
  • Partner with hiring managers to align staffing needs with business goals.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and partners.
  • Oversee in-house sourcing strategies to target industry-specific talent.

4. Onboarding, Offboarding, and Promotion Cycles

  • Ensure the smooth execution of onboarding, offboarding, and promotion processes managed by the HR Admin.
  • Monitor these cycles to maintain compliance, efficiency, and alignment with company policies.

5. Performance and Career Management

  • Oversee performance management processes, including regular reviews and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
  • Guide managers on probation evaluations and talent assessments.
  • Drive career development initiatives to support employee growth.

6. Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees on HR matters, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and job satisfaction.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, grievances, and compliance issues.
  • Manage disciplinary actions and legal processes when necessary.

7. Training and Development

  • Assess training needs and design professional development programs.
  • Implement and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for in-house L&D.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning.

8. Compliance and Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws across jurisdictions (UK, Spain, Belgium, France, Canada).
  • Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks tailored to each location.
  • Oversee health and safety policies, ensuring adherence to local regulations.

9. HR Data and Reporting

  • Analyse HR data using tools like Hibob and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Monitor employee attrition risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.

10. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Employee Well-Being

  • Maintain and enhance the company's EcoVadis certification.
  • Organize initiatives to promote employee well-being and community engagement.

11. Office Management

  • Supervise office management activities, ensuring operational and employee needs are met.
  • Lead and develop the Office Manager, who also supports HR transactional tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. CIPD or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., Hibob, LMS) and data reporting tools.
  • Global Expertise: Experience managing HR across international locations.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French or Spanish is a strong advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, leadership ability, and a proactive mindset.
