MA's Career Development Plan

Our L&D team have designed a wide-range of specialist programmes to support our employees careers from their very first day.

Fresh Start is our induction programme. Obviously, we introduce you to MA, but also to your peers around the business and what your new life at MA will look like.

Whether that's working remotely or in one of our offices, we'll get you up and running with all the tools and equipment you need to work productively, proactively and safely. We'll also arrange training to get you up to speed on all our internal systems and processes.

MARA is our three-week-long programme aimed at immersing new team members in the world of recruitment. Coupled with the drive and talent of our new hires, it's the reason for the success of many of our people. 

We will equip you with a successful recruitment strategy you can implement to maximise your output, with an effective communication structure for client & candidate partnerships, selling techniques, and qualifying and closing styles. 

Evolve sees established consultants grow into exceptional recruiters with modules including pitching and delivering retained work, PSLs and tenders, advanced negotiation, and emotional intelligence. 

This programme looks to empower our consultants with the confidence they need to take their recruitment career to the next level, learning crucial skills to create their own business plan, run and manage their own desk, and create tailored sourcing and lead generation strategies.

Step-up is a programme designed for our senior and principal consultants who are making the 'step up' into management.

We take our newly identified potential Team Leaders through workshops and tailored coaching sessions that prepare them for and guides them through managing their first team members, providing them with the tools they need to soon become great leaders.

Lead is our programme for team leaders and managers and focuses on understanding their own experiences of leadership, as well as introducing concepts such as Radical Candour and Situational Leadership.

It blends classroom content with an individual and ongoing coaching programme.

Our remote management programme provides one-to-one tailored sessions to our team leaders, managers, and directors to support them in building and maintaining long-lasting cohesion with their teams to drive performance in a remote environment. 

We help those in remote working environments shift their mindset to remote management and learn how to support team members, build trust, drive performance, and measure control and influence.
